The Studio

Armellino & Poggio Architetti Associati was founded in March 1992 by Massimo Armellino (born 1962) and Fabio Poggio (born 1965). Over the years, the firm has completed projects for both public and private clients. The firm's work focuses primarily on residential and hotel construction, restoration, urban planning, public works, and complex intervention programs.

The studio's design practice has evolved with the aim of providing a high-quality professional service, combined with the ongoing search for architectural solutions deeply rooted in the context of the projects.

He specializes in developing integrated and coordinated design processes, capable of guiding the construction process from initial conception to project completion, with the aim of creating high-quality architectural works and creating Architecture, both in Italy and abroad.

Alongside the partnership, the architectural services company 77 Architettura was founded in 2003. Its mission is to manage and coordinate large-scale projects, involving numerous entities and professionals from various sectors. The mission of the two synergistic structures is to construct high-quality buildings in an effort to achieve Architecture.

In 2003, the firm began international collaborations with Ricardo Bofill and Guillermo Consuegra. In 2011, the firm received the Gold Medal at the "Domus Restoration and Conservation" International Award (University of Ferrara) for the restoration of Saliceto Castle, Cuneo.

The studio has been featured in magazines such as: Recuperare, Platform, a+d+m, Polis, Costruire, Casabella, Domus.

Associates

Massimo Armellino
Associate Architect – Co-founder of Armellino&Poggio Architects.
He graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Genoa.
Massimo is currently a member of the National Committee of Inarcassa Delegates as a representative of the Province of Savona.

Fabio Poggio
Associate Architect – Co-founder of Armellino&Poggio Architects.
Fabio Poggio graduated in 1990 from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Genoa. From 1998 to 2008, Fabio served as President of the Council of the Order of Architects of the Province of Savona, a role that allowed him to work to promote the profession and the quality of built environments. Additionally, from 2003 to 2010, he served as President of the Federation of Architects of the Liguria Region.
