Feasibility study for the redevelopment of a disused industrial area—the Fresia area—located near the historic center of Millesimo.
The complex, which spans a 22,500-square-meter area, redesigns a key part of the town using a contemporary language. It redevelops the degraded area with the addition of private functions (residential, commercial, office, and hospitality) connected by urban spaces (squares and pedestrian areas) and public buildings (covered sports facilities, exhibition spaces, and a school).
The design paid particular attention to spatial ergonomics, reducing environmental impact (through passive insulation and energy recovery technologies from alternative sources), and the use of local construction materials sourced from the short supply chain.
